WEDNESDAY : JORGE
Jorge (George) is a multi-genre selector with a specific taste for percussive and emotive sounds. His sense of rhythm is attributed to his Latin heritage, with influences coming from growing up listening to salsa, samba, and other Latin styles in the household. He is a resident DJ for London event brand CTRL SOUND, a new record label/party Patchwork starting out from East London, and is due to start a residency at Voices Radio in August 2021. He has several mixes ready in the backlog so expect to hear more from him in the form of soul Latin jazz, ambient, breaks, house, and techno.
THURSDAY : OUSSOU ERRATIC
Sam, A.K.A Ossou Erratic is, as the name suggests, a cheese lover (and former cheesemonger) first, a DJ second, and thirdly, not one to stick within a one genre comfort zone.
Whether he’s playing high-energy precursive music for the dance floor in the club or on his collaborative residency, Pleasure Centre on Netil Radio, taking the reigns all night long over the ambient room at iconic long-running London party, Creatures, or providing a choice selection of feel-good floor-fillers in one of your favorite London drinking establishments on a Friday night – one certainty is the distinct flavor won’t disappoint.
FRIDAY : MELTEM
Meltem Yazar is a sound designer, producer/DJ, and radio host. Swaying between familiar and unexpected,
she’s fusing everything from funk, disco, house to leftfield, and many other electronic gems.
Born and raised in Athens, Greece, Kris started mixing in the early ’00s on vinyl.
He is a pure music lover and a passionate mixer, moving between almost all genres of the house during his sets, particularly soulful, deep, tech, afro, and classic.
He has performed in some of the most famous bars and clubs in Athens, including the iconic Mamacas and Dybbuk, as well as a guest Dj-ed in the Greek Islands, Germany, and London.
SUNDAY : CHRIS
Chris (Fade to Zaire) runs a record label and party coming out of East London, as well as monthly shows on Balamii and Netil Radio. He brings leftfield cuts from ambient, downtempo and chug, to minimal and experimental.
